A really nice NW sesssion. I was first on the water with my 6.3m sail and newly repaired Fanatic Cross 100. I was just about powered up to start with, but after a run or two the wind kicked in a little and I was perfectly powered up and having fun skimming acros the water and gybing on the swells.

Nick soon joined me on his Techno with a 8m sail!! I'm g;ad I wsn't on such big kit, but he seemed to be doing OK. ajdesq then came out, but as soon as he got on the water the wind dropped so we gave up for a while and I went kite-surfing.

The wind then filled in properly and we went out and had a couple more hours of well-powered up sailing. I made some nice gybes and some little jumps off the swell, as ell as messed around riding the so-called waves.

We were joind by Steve later and all stayed on the water until the sunset, before heading off to the pub with aching arms.
